Booking an event booth has always been a gamble. Vendors commit a booth fee, travel, staffing, and inventory based on a slick promotional deck and an organizer's promise of "10,000+ attendees." Once the event ends, there's no shared record of whether it actually delivered — just another flyer advertising next year's "bigger and better" show.
